How does admission to the festival infield work?
Admission to the concert area is only possible with a festival wristband on your wrist. You can get this at all check-in stations. At the entrance your wristbands and bags will be checked.
Which age limits apply for Rock am Ring?
Guardians are usually the parents, in exceptional cases this can also be a legally appointed carer or legal guardian. The personal custody authorization cannot be transferred to other people, e.g. older friend or other family member.

Reclaim leftover cashless credit
The refund of your remaining balance is no longer available through the cashless portal and can now only be requested by email.
To process your refund, we need your IBAN and the code on your wristband. Please handle your wristband with care and keep your chip until the refund process is complete.

Refunds typically take up to 14 days. However, we ask for your understanding if it takes a little longer in some cases.
Here you’ll find all the important information you need to make your festival visit as accessible as possible—from required tickets and camping and parking options to on-site services and information about what you can bring onto the infield (concert area).
To help us prepare for your visit as effectively as possible, we need some information from you in advance.
Camping at RockAbility Camping is only possible with a confirmed registration, as space is limited.
RockAbility Camping
Registration
To camp at RockAbility Camping, you need a Festival Ticket and a General Camping Ticket, as well as a German disability ID displaying one of the following disability designation: B, G, aG, H, Bl, TBl, or Gl. Alternatively, an internationally recognized disability ID is also accepted and entitles you to stay at RockAbility Camping with a group of up to 4 people.
If your German disability ID card includes the “B” designation, one designated companion may receive a free companion ticket for both the festival and General Camping. This ticket can be ordered by phone at +49 421 353638.
All other members of your group each need their own Festival Ticket and General Camping Ticket.
To ensure your group can be planned together, only one registration is required for the entire group, regardless of how many group members have a disability ID. This allows us to clearly assign your registration and avoid duplicates.

Group Size and Vehicles
You can register as a group of up to 4 people for RockAbility Camping. It does not matter how many people in the group have a disability. This limit allows us to make RockAbility Camping available to as many guests with disabilities as possible.
Each group may bring one vehicle (a car with or without a travel trailer, or an RV/camper van) and up to two tents onto the campground. Please make sure to specify your vehicle type when registering so that we can plan accordingly. We will provide final confirmation of your parking/camping space.
Depending on capacity, it may be possible to bring one additional vehicle. For information about availability, please contact: rockability@rock-am-ring.com
Campground and Restrooms
Accessible restroom facilities are available at RockAbility Camping. The festival grounds also offer accessible flush toilets as well as accessible portable toilets near the wheelchair viewing platforms.
The following camping areas are designed to be as accessible as possible and have accessible restroom and shower facilities:
- B5 (Northern Caravan Area)
- D (Caravan)
- D9 (Green)
- C (General)
The ground at RockAbility Camping consists mainly of compacted gravel, but not all areas are paved or fully surfaced. Other camping areas have varying surfaces depending on the location, including grass, gravel, and sand.
When planning your visit, please be aware that not all paths have paved or even surfaces. Depending on the weather, some areas may become muddy, which can make getting around in a wheelchair more difficult. Accessibility in individual areas may therefore vary, particularly after heavy rain.

Power Supply
RockAbility Camping also provides shared power outlets that can be used to charge electric wheelchairs. These connections are located at central points throughout the campground. Power is provided through these shared central outlets and is not available individually at each tent, vehicle, or campsite.
Please keep in mind when planning your visit that a continuous power supply cannot be guaranteed. The electrical connections are therefore not intended for operating medically necessary equipment.
The maximum output is 230V / 16A or up to 1,000 watts per connection. To use the power supply, guests must bring their own outdoor-rated extension cable of at least 25 metres, CEE-compatible and splash-proof according to IP44 standards.
Day Parking / Commuter Parking
If you are not staying at the campground—for example, if you are staying at a hotel or vacation rental you can register for a day parking space. Since the number of spaces is limited, they are allocated only with prior confirmation.
A shuttle service is available to take you from the day parking area to the infield (concert area). Low-floor buses are used to make boarding and exiting easier.
To help you plan accordingly, please be aware that the shuttle stops do not have raised boarding platforms and that the ground may be uneven in some areas. As a result, full accessibility cannot be guaranteed for every individual need. Shuttle buses operate during designated periods and do not run continuously.

Festival Shuttles
A shuttle service is available between the campgrounds and the festival grounds. Low-floor buses are used to make boarding and exiting easier.
To help you plan accordingly, please be aware that the shuttle stops do not have raised boarding platforms and that the ground may be uneven in some areas. As a result, full accessibility cannot be guaranteed for every individual need. Bus drivers are instructed to provide as much assistance as possible when passengers are boarding and exiting. Shuttle buses operate during designated periods and do not run continuously.
Mobility Aids on the Infield (Concert Area)
The following mobility aids may be brought onto the infield (concert area):
- Wheelchairs
- Walkers
- Crutches
- Walking aids
- White canes
We recommend carrying a doctor’s note confirming the need for your mobility aid.
Seating
Guests are not permitted to bring their own seating, such as folding chairs, camping chairs, or telescopic stools, even with a doctor’s note.
Various seating options are available on the festival grounds near the food and beverage areas.
Wheelchair Viewing Platforms
The wheelchair viewing platforms and the roof of the pit lane building are reserved exclusively for guests with a valid German disability ID card displaying the applicable disability designation, as well as one medically necessary companion.
Unfortunately, guests with temporary mobility impairments cannot use these areas. Please note that space on the roof and viewing platforms is limited.
Medication / Allergies / Celiac Disease
If you need to keep medication refrigerated during the festival, you can have it stored at RockAbility Camping. To ensure that your medication can be identified and stored safely, please bring it in its original packaging, inside a clear bag that is clearly labeled with your name.
Please keep in mind that an uninterrupted cold chain cannot be guaranteed.
You may also bring medication that is subject to Germany’s controlled substances regulations. For these medications, you will need a valid opioid certificate/pass or an appropriate doctor’s prescription.
Common everyday medications, such as headache medication, may be brought in quantities appropriate for personal use, provided they remain in their original packaging.
If you need a diabetes pen, asthma inhaler, or allergy medication during the festival, you may of course bring these onto the festival grounds. If you have allergies, we also recommend carrying your allergy identification card so that medical staff can provide fast and appropriate assistance in an emergency.
Gluten-free food options are also available on the festival grounds. Since cross-contact during on-site food preparation cannot be completely ruled out, guests with celiac disease may additionally bring a small personal packed meal onto the infield. Please carry appropriate medical documentation with you.
